It gives me a clear idea of how to use data in my project management work. It also gives me ready-to-use tools that I can enrich with my data and use immediately.

I am sure that this knowledge and these tools will boost my career and put me at the top of the list of managers, opening up great opportunities. I am also sure that this kind of data-driven approach will become a new standard and best practice in management.

Honestly I did not expect that this course would bring me so many positive discoveries. Having experience in project management for more than 10 years I was sure that any new course would give me just another systematization of knowledge.

However, already in the first lesson I received a new tool for analysis and management, which I was able to test on my own data within 15 minutes! It turned out that my team very often underestimates some specific small tasks and overestimates some larger tasks. These mistakes lead to distortion of the overall project assessment. The conversation with my teammates turned out to be very constructive, because we were shown our weak points when estimating the exact group of tasks; and we were given tips on how to improve our accuracy. When planning the next iteration, we took our mistakes into account and the accuracy of the assessment increased noticeably; the customer appreciated this.

Furthermore, each next lesson brings a new tool that can be applied immediately! I admit, it’s hard to surprise me, but the guys have created a unique product for project managers. Our project teams generate a lot of data that we don’t analyze properly. Why so? Lack of time, tools, knowledge. It turned out that such tools exist and every project manager can easily use them. I am confident that provided methods and tools for analyzing project data will become an industry standard in the near future.

The course definitely confirmed my perceptions about the transformative power of data in driving effective decision making and shaping the future of management practices.
